Grief and Survivors Programs

San Francisco Suicide Prevention offers a number of programs for survivors.

Grief  Support Groups:  We provide eight week support groups for people who have lost a loved one to suicide. These groups offer a safe and non-judgmental space to share experiences, and listen to other survivors. Monthly Drop in Group:  The monthly drop in group is for survivors that have completed the SFSP six or eight week group and would like to connect with other survivors on a regular basis.

Survivors in Action Against Suicide (SAAS):  This program is for survivors who have significantly processed through their grief, and are ready to take action against suicide.  Activities include working on the hotline, volunteering in our education department and helping the agency with administrative or fundraising projects.
