San Francisco Suicide Prevention loves fundraising events, large and small. Community events help break down some of the stigma about suicide and mental health concerns. The agency produces three big fundraising events every year; Laughs for Life, the Heroes of Nonprofit Luncheon, and the HIV Nightline World Travel Raffle.
We also depend on small events developed by community members: everything from bake sales, happy hour events, memorial Rugby games, to concerts, and anything else a group of people can think of. This is a wonderful way to host a party for your friends, and help a great cause at the same time!
